Gen Y Will Change the Web

Here’s an interesting blog post about the ways that those in Generation Y will use and change the Web. Basically, it says that those who are roughly between 13-30 years of age are plugged in with multiple devices; watch TV, but not that much; pay attention to news online, but don’t read newspapers; need and want info, but hate slogans and image campaigns. They prefer to rely on the recommendations of friends and want “humor, irony, and unvarnished truth.”

The article had the embedded slideshow above that I thought supported some of the things I have said previously about participating in community (Community and Community 2.0) and getting hired in a Web 2.0 world.
